Holiday Inn Express Hotel

SPG was engaged by Pro-Invest NZ Property 1 Limited Partnership in 2016 as the planning consultant for the development of a large-scale hotel in central Queenstown.

The proposal involved the establishment and operation of a visitor accommodation development in the form of a high quality architecturally designed hotel that would operate under the banner of the international Holiday Inn Express brand. The completed development will provide up to 227 guest rooms for paying guests.

Scott led a large-scale multi-disciplinary consultant team that included architects, landscape architects, an urban designer, civil/structural engineers, sustainability experts, heritage experts and ecological experts.

After a publicly notified process, resource consent was obtained for the client.
