Cemetery Road Tarras
SPG prepared and oversaw the processing of a three Lot rural subdivision of a 7,215m2 site on Cemetery Road, Tarras. The subject site was located in the Rural Resource Area of the Central Otago District Plan and required a Non-Complying Activity Consent for breaching the minimum and average allotment size for the zone.
The proposal was publicly notified and SPG represented the applicant at a Council hearing alongside a landscape expert from Rough Milne Mitchell. SPG also undertook consultation with an adjoining landowner and opposing submitter, which resulted in an agreement being reached and tabled at the hearing confirming the withdrawal of the opposing submission.
Consent was ultimately granted by the Central Otago District Council authorising the creation of three Lots between 1,740m2 and 2,760m2 each with a 300m2 residential building platform.
