Patterson Road, Bannockburn

SPG prepared and oversaw the processing of a Non-Complying subdivision consent to subdivide an existing site with a residential dwelling into two Lots. Land use consent was sought concurrently to establish a bespoke designed residential dwelling on the new vacant allotment.

As the proposed subdivision did not achieve the minimum or average allotment sizes for the Rural Resource Area of the Central Otago District Plan, the proposal was progressed on a publicly notified basis. 

SPG represented the applicant at the Council hearing and successfully argued that the effects of the proposed subdivision and development would be no more than minor. The Hearing Panel ultimately agreed and approved both the subdivision and land use consents as initially sought.
