Modbox Middleton Road
This elegant 4 bedroom residential dwelling with attached residential flat located on Queenstown Hill has been built for the views and to look aesthetically appealing for the rental market. The attached residential flat is fully self-contained and private for when rented and includes its own back patio.
While the pictures say a thousand words about the quality finish of the architecture and overall project this proposal required a number of resource consents from the Queenstown Lakes District Council for breaches of the relevant earthwork’s rules and the relevant bulk and location requirements of the Operative District Plan before work could commence on site.
Working collaboratively with Modbox Homes and the team at DK Architecture, SPG helped formulate a development proposal capable of gaining resource consent and subsequently drafted the resource consent application and oversaw its processing by the Queenstown Lakes District Council through to the issue of a non-notified decision.
Subsequent to gaining resource consent for the earthworks and building infringements, SPG also assisted the owner navigate the planning provisions for short term visitor accommodation and successfully gained resource consent to use both the primary dwelling and residential flat for visitor accommodation purposes up to 365 nights per annum.
