Accolade Wines – Seasonal Workers Accommodation

Accolade Wines is a global premium wine and spirits company, producing some of the world’s most-loved brands such as Hardys, Echo Falls, Grant Burge, St Hallett, and House of Arras.

Their operations span the entire spectrum, from wine supply & production to sales, marketing, and distribution. Within New Zealand, Accolade Wines operates vineyards in Marlborough, Waipara Valley and Central Otago. 

SPG was approached in 2022 to assist in obtaining resource consent for three, 3-bedroom dwellings on their Bendigo vineyard to be utilised as seasonal workers accommodation for up to eighteen workers. 

SPG oversaw the consent process including the engagement and expert assessment of the landscape effects by landscape architect and successfully gained resource consent for the proposal on a non-notified basis.
