Magrathea Wine Company Limited
Magrathea Wine Company Limited own and operate a boutique vineyard of approximately 8.5Ha on the east facing slopes of the Pisa Range on the Luggate-Cromwell Road.
SPG were engaged to obtain resource consent from the Central Otago District Council for the construction and operation of a 517m2 production winery, private functions, and off-license sales.
The Central Otago District Council consent was obtained on a non-notified basis and without the need for any affected party approvals. Subsequent to receipt of this decision, SPG also sought resource consent from the Otago Regional Council for the discharge of wastewater (effluent and production waste from the winery) on behalf of Magrathea Wine Company Limited. These regional council consents were also obtained on a non-notified basis.
