With SPG having an office in Cromwell, we are situated in the heart of some of the best viticultural land in the country. Accordingly, we have had the opportunity to provide expert planning advice and services to some well known wine producers as well as some of the smaller, but equally passionate, boutique scale wineries.
Our services have been sought in regard to land use consents for frost control fans, development of new production wineries, development of new tasting facilities and cellar doors, and seasonal workers accommodation.
Te Kano Tasting Room Felton Road
In 2018 SPG was approached by the owners of Te Kano to assist with gaining resource consent from the Central Otago District Council to construct an award winning architecturally designed building to house a cellar door, and tasting facility, as well as operate as a destination for private functions, on their Felton Road vineyard in Bannockburn.

Magrathea Wine Company Limited
Magrathea Wine Company Limited own and operate a boutique vineyard of approximately 8.5Ha on the east facing slopes of the Pisa Range on the Luggate-Cromwell Road.
Prophets Rock Wines Limited
Prophets Rock Wines Limited are well established Central Otago wine makers. Their vineyards comprise Pinot Gris, Riesling and Pinot Noir and are managed for low yields with exceptional concentration and flavour with the grapes hand picked.
