Prophets Rock Wines Limited
Prophets Rock Wines Limited are well established Central Otago wine makers. Their vineyards comprise Pinot Gris, Riesling and Pinot Noir and are managed for low yields with exceptional concentration and flavour with the grapes hand picked.
In 2018, SPG was engaged to assist in gaining resource consent from the Central Otago District Council to establish a production winery building on their Bendigo vineyard and to allow the hosting of functions and on/off license sales of wine.
As a Non-Complying Activity, the proposal was considered by the Central Otago District Council’s Hearings Panel where SPG appeared on behalf of Prophets Rock Wines Limited.
The decision was successfully obtained on a non-notified basis and with construction complete, winery tours and tastings are now available from this amazing Central Otago site https://www.prophetsrock.co.nz/visit/

Te Kano Tasting Room Felton Road
In 2018 SPG was approached by the owners of Te Kano to assist with gaining resource consent from the Central Otago District Council to construct an award winning architecturally designed building to house a cellar door, and tasting facility, as well as operate as a destination for private functions, on their Felton Road vineyard in Bannockburn.
