SPG works alongside a wide range of commercial tourism operators throughout the South Island by assisting with obtaining the resource consent, Department of Conservation Concessions, and LINZ Recreation Permit approvals to operate across an array of private, public conservation, and high country pastoral lease lands.
Each statutory organization has a different process, timeframes, and information requirements. SPG are experts in being able to guide commercial operators through all of these processes and achieve successful outcomes allowing our clients to keep operating and providing the exhilarating tourism experiences New Zealand is renowned for.
Harris Mountains Heli Ski
For more than 40 years, Harris Mountains Heli-Ski has guided skiers and boarders to the best snow and terrain New Zealand has to offer. Harris Mountains Heli-Ski has access to hundreds of peaks in eleven legendary mountain ranges from Queenstown Lakes to Mt Cook – more territory than any other operator.
The Helicopter Line
The Helicopter Line is New Zealand’s leading helicopter operating company. Formed in 1986 when 3 separate helicopter companies combined, The Helicopter Line has grown to become the largest Kiwi owned Helicopter Company in New Zealand and the largest provider of scenic flights in the country.
Mitre Peak Cruises
Mitre Peak Cruises has been offering day trips on Milford Sound for over 18-years. Offering regular two-hour trips through the fiord and out into the Tasman Sea, they give their guests the opportunity to enter Milford Sound from the outside, approaching it just as the first sealers did at the end of the 18th century.
Alpine Guides Limited
Alpine Guides was first established in 1966 as "Alpine Instruction Ltd". The main business was running instruction courses out of Ball Hut at Mt Cook, but the company's roots stretch back to the great NZ guiding era of the 1880's to 1950's.
Totally Tourism Limited
Established in 1999, Totally Tourism has been providing authentic experiences for Kiwis and international travelers for more than 20 years as the umbrella company of some of New Zealand’s original sightseeing, leisure and adventure activities including; The Helicopter Line, Mitre Peak Cruises, Milford Sound Scenic Flights, Glacier Helicopters, Harris Mountains Heli-Ski, Challenge Rafting, and Alpine Guides.
Te Anau Helicopter Services Limited
Te Anau Helicopter Services Ltd is owned and operated by Gaven and Jennie Burgess. After years of flying for other company's they took the leap to go out on their own in 2014. Located at the Te Anau Manapouri Airport they are in a prime location to showcase Fiordland.
